Um berço de imersão de encontro com si mesmo e com a espiritualidade. Um lugar de reflexão e conexão com tudo o que existe no universo. Uma atmosfera que te leva de encontro com o passado e ao mesmo tempo te conectando com o presente, futuro. Aqui eu poderia, dizer; que entre uma parede e outra, eu me permitir mergulhar em uma outra dimensão. Se existe um lugar enigmático na África. Aqui é este lugar! Já na entrada os guardiões já te recebem com uma inacreditável energia, que eu confesso nunca ter sentido antes. Eu fiquei paralisada sem ação. Só me permitir vivenciar aquele momento único, como muitos mistérios que rondam o lugar.
Um enigma vivo
O fato da existência de um homem cuja a sua história de vida é para guardar um segredo, e vários mistérios isso para mim, é um enigma vivo. O guardião de uma das capelas da cidade sagrada de Axum, quase na fronteira com a Eritreia. Tem uma história um pouco inusitada, misteriosa e muito enigmática. Este homem é um símbolo de pureza e mistério naquele lugar. O mais intrigante é que ele é um guardião de uma capela, que ninguém está autorizado a entrar somente ele. Ele vive lá, em plena reclusão, para mim ele é um monge, com uma idade que beira seus 70 e poucos anos. Uma história de vida cercada de mistérios e muitos nuances dentro desta construção enigmática que para o povo etíope ela foi construída com a ajuda dos anjos. Eu confesso que até acredito devido alguns historiadores estarem lá, no momento em que eu estava fazendo esta matéria. Para eles tudo se parece um mistério, não tirando a capacidade do homem dentro desta construção, mas na escassez de recursos e instrumentos que são necessários para aquela escavação. Mas nos relatos históricos esta é uma construção feita por muitos homens durantes muitos anos. E o fato da história ter a participação dos anjos é um complemento de relato sobrenatural e espiritual que faz parte daquele lugar e também destas construções. Em minhas andanças pelo lugar, alguns etíopes me contam que o guardião está lá naquela capela dia após dia, na vigilância da arca, fazendo apenas uma pequena pausa para comer. Uma missão para uma vida inteira, sem interromper aquele propósito sagrado. A arca à qual eu cito nesta matéria é a Arca da Aliança. Que foi levada para lá pelo filho do rei Salomão e da rainha de Sabá que levou para a Etiópia a Arca perdida, na caixa contém as tábuas que Deus deu a Moisés. Eu chego a ficar paralisada diante de tanto conhecimento e relatos desta verdade que se encontra lá, sob os domínios do guardião. Embora esta história seja de fato real, devido alguns historiadores estarem seguindo pistas e aberto alguns enigmas, deixados como prova desta existência no local. A arca não é somente guardada por um guardião, mais por uma tropa de homens que estão por ali, em tocaias, circulando entre os turistas, arqueólogos e pesquisadores. A arca é um objeto sagrado e o mais valioso artefato da história da humanidade. Uma prova real da comunicação de Deus com o homem. Em relação a existência de ter um guardião eu percebo que a história é uma continuidade da época da construção da arca. Que também ficava sob o domínio e aos cuidados de Moisés. Até a escolha do guardião e cercada de muitos mistérios… Dizem; que o escolhido entre muitos pretendentes, logo depois dele ser escolhido outro também será escolhido: como o anterior, entre inúmeros ritos sagrados o guardião terá de ser virgem e permanecer como tal, e estar disposto a queimar incenso diante da arca dia e noite, até o seu último dia de vida. Nossa! Que história fascinante e ao mesmo tempo intrigante e também enigmática devido estar cercada de mistérios que tem anos de existência. Na minha visão pessoal o mistério neste lugar é visível aos olhos do guardião. Para você perceber que existe algo de magnifico ali, que ele guarda a 7 chaves e que é um grande segredo da humanidade ou, uma força sobrenatural que ali habita.
O Sagrado
O país da Éthiopia é sagrado, a sua história é construída com base na fé. Tudo começa através da história no reinado do imperador Haile Selassie que através da sua forte resistência à colonização, que foi considerada por muitos como uma terra sagrada. Uma curiosidade dentro deste relato, diz; que impulsionada mundialmente por seu ímpeto rastafári desde a nomeação do imperador Haile Selassie, “o escolhido de Deus”, a popularidade da Éthiopia há muito se baseia nessa corrente de pensamento. O país em si é um dos lugares mais visitados em termos da ligação espiritual com o universo, os antepassados, os anjos e Deus. Também conhecido por ser o berço da humanidade onde abriga e preserva toda a história ancestral. Lá também é considerada uma terra sagrada em todos os sentidos, os costumes e o próprio povo em si, já lhe passa esta condição de crença. A Éthiopia é um pais espiritual lá cerca de 60% da população etíope é do cristianismo que é a maioria do território. Embora também tenha outras correntes religiosas como o catolicismo, ortodoxia ou mesmo o evangelismo. Existe a diversidade religiosa que permite esta força de corrente espiritual por todo o país. A religião cristã é pioneira em um lugar de extrema expressão espiritual. Onde estamos na cidade de Lalibela as igrejas são esculpidas nas rochas, anteriormente eu descrevi que o povo etíope acredita que teve a ajuda dos anjos nesta construção. Até hoje permanecem com seus elementos icônicos da cultura etíope. Um espaço criado para reconstituir a Jerusalém dos cristãos.
O lugar
Foi constituído sob a ordem do rei Gebre Mesqel. Lalibela no início do século XIII esta cidade também é chamada de Jerusalém etíope. A cidade é protegida pela Unesco, fazendo parte da lista do Patrimônio da Humanidade. Lá existem um território com as dozes catedrais de pedra de Lalibela, a Jerusalém da Éthiopia. Na Éthiopia os tempos bíblicos chegaram até os nossos dias. São ensinamentos passados de geração à geração que segue o ritmo sagrado diante de Deus. O chão daquele lugar é sagrado, entrar na catedral é também um gesto maior, dentro deste lugar sagrado que faz parte de alguns costumes locais. Antes de entrar, os fiéis tiram os sapatos, beijam várias vezes os batentes da porta de entrada, fazem o sinal da cruz e rezam, alguns ficam apoiados com bastão, outros ajoelhados, etc. Lá todos seguem os ritmos marcados pelos tambores sagrados, que fazem parte de um rito sagrado.
Roteiro sagrado
Esta rota foi escolhida com o intuito de trazer a paz, e ao mesmo tempo o conhecimento deste lugar incrível que se encontra na terra. A África é um lugar mágico, cheio de caminhos misteriosos cada país tem uma história intrigante onde podemos nos deparar com o sobrenatural. Que pode ser manifestar em energias, sensações, e aparições. Eu pessoalmente acredito que isso também exista em vários lugares no mundo. Aqui eu aprendi que a vida é imortal, ela é eterna. Existe um véu que separa esse mundo de outros. E esses outros mundos, fazem parte deste mundo. Alguns dizem; ser uma outra dimensão, um portal que se abre e revela o que está oculto deste mundo. Para mim não importa o que de fato existe, simplesmente que existe este véu. Jesus foi o único que deixou esta revelação para que nós, pudéssemos entender que tudo o que está escrito existe. E que a vida é eterna para todos. Aqui eu passei por lugares extremamente sagrados como Axum que abriga grandes mistérios. Depois uma outra viagem sagrada para a segunda cidade sagrada do país, a famosa Lalibela. Em seguida Tigrai, uma das regiões mais áridas da Éthiopia. Em Tigrai existem 250 igrejas rupestres, feitas de rocha vermelha. Este lugar também tem grandes expressões de várias energias, principalmente de curas. O povo busca muito por este tipo de conexão quando enfrentam horas e horas de longas caminhadas e viagens para chegar até lá. Caminhos de pedras que ao longo desta caminhada o indivíduo já alcança um milagre que limpa o corpo e a alma. Entre muitas descobertas aqui nos deparamos com uma jornada rica em várias expressões espirituais. Já em Mekele, a capital da região do Tigrai, começa numa tortuosa subida para chegar até Lalibela que está situada a 2700 metros. Eu considero Lalibela um museu céu aberto, é lindo demais o lugar. Foi cansativo chegar até aqui, andamos muito entre subidas e descendo os sendeiros de uma das cadeias de montanhas. O lugar abriga uma cidadezinha para as famílias que vivem ao redor onde estão as igrejas. Finalmente chegamos na igreja de São Jorge, em Lalibela que foi escavada na rocha viva. Ali encerramos esta jornada sagrada na Éthiopia. Eu consegui alcançar uma grande graça pessoal, sou devota de São Jorge. E estar aqui é de fato, estar de encontro com tudo o que eu venho durante anos alimentando dentro mim. Na minha devoção a este cavalheiro que durante anos me auxilia, e me ajuda a enfrentar os dragões que aparecem nos meus caminhos. Promessa paga, graça alcançada, em um novo ciclo que se inicia com muita gratidão e felicidade na alma, que é estar aqui. Termino desejando à todos um Feliz Natal e um Próspero Ano Novo. A cradle of immersion of encounter with oneself and with spirituality. A place of reflection and connection with everything that exists in the universe. An atmosphere that takes you back to the past and at the same time connecting you with the present, the future. Here I could, say; that between one wall and another, I allow myself to dive into another dimension. If there is an enigmatic place in Africa. Here is this place! Already at the entrance, the guardians already welcome you with an unbelievable energy, which I confess I have never felt before. I was paralyzed without action. Just allow myself to experience that unique moment, like the many mysteries that surround the place.
A living riddle
The fact of the existence of a man whose life story is to be kept a secret, and several mysteries at that for me, is a living enigma. The keeper of one of the chapels in the holy city of Axum, almost on the border with Eritrea. It has a somewhat unusual, mysterious and very enigmatic history. This man is a symbol of purity and mystery in that place. The most intriguing thing is that he is a guardian of a chapel, which no one is allowed to enter but him. He lives there, in complete seclusion, for me he is a monk, with an age in his early 70s. A life story surrounded by mysteries and many nuances within this enigmatic construction that for the Ethiopian people it was built with the help of angels. I confess that I even believe it because some historians were there at the time I was writing this article. For them, everything looks like a mystery, not taking away the capacity of man within this construction, but the scarcity of resources and instruments that are necessary for that excavation. But in historical accounts this is a construction made by many men over many years. And the fact that the story has the participation of angels is a complement to the supernatural and spiritual story that is part of that place and also of these constructions. In my wanderings around the place, some Ethiopians tell me that the guardian is there in that chapel day after day, watching over the ark, taking only a short break to eat. A lifetime mission, without interrupting that sacred purpose. The ark I refer to in this matter is the Ark of the Covenant. That was taken there by the son of King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba who took the lost Ark to Ethiopia, in the box contains the tablets that God gave to Moses. I get paralyzed in the face of so much knowledge and reports of this truth that is there, under the domain of the guardian. Although this story is in fact real, due to some historians following clues, and opening up some enigmas left as proof of its existence in the place. The ark is not only guarded by a guardian, but by a troop of men who are there, in ambushes, circulating among the tourists, archaeologists and researchers. The ark is a sacred object and the most valuable artifact in human history. A real proof of God’s communication with man. Regarding the existence of having a guardian, I realize that the story is a continuation of the time of the construction of the ark. Which was also under the dominion and care of Moses. Even the guardian’s choice is surrounded by many mysteries… They say; that the chosen one among many suitors, soon after he is chosen another will also be chosen: like the former, among innumerable sacred rites the guardian will have to be a virgin and remain as such, and be willing to burn incense before the ark day and night, until your last day of life. Our! What a fascinating and at the same time intriguing and also enigmatic story due to being surrounded by mysteries that have existed for years. In my personal view the mystery in this place is visible to the guardian’s eyes. For you to realize that there is something magnificent there, that he keeps 7 keys that is a great secret of humanity or, a supernatural force that dwells there.
The sacred
The country of Ethiopia is sacred, its history is built on faith. It all starts through history in the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie who through his strong resistance to colonization, which was considered by many as a sacred land. A curiosity within this story, he says; that propelled worldwide by its Rastafarian impetus since the appointment of Emperor Haile Selassie, “God’s chosen one”, Ethiopia’s popularity has long been based on this current of thought. The country itself is one of the most visited places in terms of the spiritual connection with the universe, ancestors, angels and God. Also known for being the cradle of humanity where it houses and preserves all ancestral history. There it is also considered a sacred land in every sense, the customs and the people themselves, already pass on this condition of belief. Ethiopia is a spiritual country there about 60% of the Ethiopian population is Christianity which is the majority of the territory. Although it also has other religious currents such as Catholicism, Orthodoxy or even evangelism. There is religious diversity that allows this strength of spiritual current throughout the country. The Christian religion is a pioneer in a place of extreme spiritual expression. Where we are in the city of Lalibela the churches are carved in the rocks, previously I described that Ethiopian people believe that they had the help of angels in this construction. To this day they remain iconic elements of Ethiopian culture. A space created to reconstitute the Jerusalem of Christians.
The place
It was constituted under the order of King Gebre Mesqel. Lalibela in the early 13th century this city is also called Ethiopian Jerusalem. The city is protected by Unesco, being part of the World Heritage list. There exists a territory with the twelve stone cathedrals of Lalibela, the Jerusalem of Ethiopia. In Ethiopia biblical times have reached our days. They are teachings passed down from generation to generation that follow the sacred rhythm before God. The floor of that place is sacred, entering the cathedral is also a major gesture within this sacred that is part of some local customs. Before entering, the faithful take off their shoes, kiss the doorposts several times, make the sign of the cross and pray, some leaning on a staff, others kneeling, etc. There everyone follows the rhythms marked by the sacred drums, which are part of a sacred rite.
Sacred script
This route was chosen with the intention of bringing peace, and at the same time knowledge of this incredible place that is found on earth. Africa is a magical place, full of mysterious paths, each country has an intriguing history where we can encounter the supernatural. Which can be manifested in energies, sensations, and apparitions. I personally believe this also exists in many places around the world. Here I learned that life is immortal, it is eternal. There is a veil that separates this world from others. And these other worlds are part of this world. Some say; be another dimension, a portal that opens and reveals what is hidden from this world. It doesn’t matter to me what actually exists, there is simply this veil. Jesus was the only one who left this revelation so that we could understand that everything that is written exists. And that life is eternal for everyone. Here I passed through extremely sacred places like Axum, which houses great mysteries. Then another holy journey to the second holy city of the country, the famous Lalibela. Then Tigrai, one of the most arid regions of Ethiopia. In Tigrai there are 250 cave churches, made of red rock. This place also has great expressions of various energies, mostly healing. People are looking for this kind of connection a lot when they face hours and hours of long walks and trips to get there. Stone paths that along this walk the individual already achieves a miracle that cleanses the body and soul. Among many discoveries here we are faced with a journey rich in various spiritual expressions. Once in Mekele, the capital of the Tigrai region, a tortuous climb begins to reach Lalibela, which is located at 2700 meters. I consider Lalibela an open-air museum, the place is too beautiful. It was tiring to get here, we walked a lot between going up and down the paths of one of the mountain ranges. The place houses a small town for the families that live around where the churches are. Finally we arrived at the church of São Jorge, in Lalibela which was excavated in the living rock. There we ended this sacred journey in Ethiopia. I managed to achieve a great personal grace, I am a devotee of São Jorge. And being here is, in fact, meeting everything that I’ve been feeding inside of me for years. In my devotion to this gentleman who for years helped me, helped me to face the dragons that appeared in my paths. Promise paid, grace achieved, in a new cycle that begins with great gratitude and happiness in the soul, which is being here. I end by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
