Nádia Campos de Angola se destaca no mundo da moda internacional. Dona de uma beleza singular e traços delicados e uma postura forte. Ela é considerada uma das modelos africanas mais promissoras da nova geração. Nádia ama o que faz e sente que está no caminho certo. Nascida em Angola a modelo é universitária, ou seja, uma mulher que aposta em seus sonhos visando um futuro cheio de possibilidades dentro das passarelas e fora também. Sua carreira iniciou quando por coincidência do destino, ela estava indo para o colégio e seus caminhos se cruzaram com o Hadjalmar El Vaim. Ele fez uma proposta para ela, fazer parte de sua agência, e ela aceitou. Foi aí que tudo começou, e Nádia Campos entrou para o universo fashion. Nádia Campos é agenciada pela Hadja Models até os dias de hoje. Iniciou a carreira em 2017 e desde então vem acumulando desfiles importantes, editoriais, comerciais e viagens internacionais.

A modelo acumula em sua trajetória profissional muitos desfiles, como: Angola Fashion Week, Moda Angola, Internacional Fashion Show (IFS), Moda solidária e Beevok Fashion Week. O reconhecimento veio através do prêmio de modelo revelação Moda Solidária em 2018. A carreira promissora também está presente em várias campanhas publicitárias, Publicidade para DSTV, Publicidade para a bebida Bela, Publicidade da bebida Luandina, Campanha publicitária para o Belas Shopping, Campanha publicitária de Natal para Unitel e a Campanha publicitária da Africell. Nádia Campos começou a sua carreira internacional em 2019, no mesmo ano viajou para a Nigéria para trabalhar no evento GTBANK FSHN WKND. Em 2020 viajou para Itália em Milão, desfilou no Milão Fashion Week 2020 desfilando para uma marca conceituada “Philipp Plein”. E as novidades na carreira em ascensão e sucesso de Nádia Campos não param por aí, em 2021 ganhou o prêmio de Modelo Nacional do Ano Angola Fashion Awards 2021. O que também lhe trouxe mais um reconhecimento internacional este ano. Nádia Campos viajou para a Itália para desfilar em um dos maiores evento de moda internacional o Milão Fashion Week 2022 “MFW22”. O ano de 2022 está apenas começando para Nádia Campos que este ano tem seu nome indicado no maior evento de premiação em Angola “Globos de ouro Angola 22”.

LAS – O que você sente antes de entrar em uma passarela?
NC – Uma grande ansiedade, aquele frio na barriga. Mas assim que piso o meu pé sobre a passarela, vendo todas as atenções e holofotes virados para mim é simplesmente mágico.
LAS- O que significa moda para você?
NC – A moda para mim significa o crescimento como adolescente e a afirmação como mulher e como profissional.
Para mim que respiro e me alimento da moda significa tudo, ela consegue tirar de mim, aquilo que eu sou de melhor.
LAS – Você acha que está no caminho certo?
NC – De certeza absoluta que sim. Não só tenho vindo crescendo bastante na minha carreira Nacional e Internacional, como também se não acreditarmos que estamos no caminho certo nunca chegaremos lá.
LAS – Como você cuida da sua beleza?
NC – Eu trabalho com a imagem e é muito importante senão crucial ter sempre um cuidado especial.
Gosto de tomar sol para garantir a vitamina D Aproveito para bronzear-me e dar uma tonalidade diferente à pele e com o trabalho que eu faço ajuda bastante.
Faço exercícios irregularmente, opto por uma alimentação saudável sempre que possível e bebo muita água.
LAS – Qual é o seu estilo?
NC – O meu estilo é versátil. Ser mulher que se veste com estilo não significa ter roupas de marcas no armário, mas saber o que funciona para você e qual mensagem você quer passar.
LAS – Quais são os seus estilistas preferidos?
NC – Não tenho uma preferência pelos estilistas com quem eu já trabalhei, tanto os Nacionais como os Internacionais. Cada Estilista tem o seu valor e todos têm uma dedicação autêntica. Mas devo confessar que o que mais me marcou foi o Philipp Plein.
LAS – Quais são os seus planos para o futuro?
NC – Os planos são audaciosos, mercado internacional é um deles continuar a levar a vida da forma mais natural possível.
LAS – Existe alguma dificuldade enfrentada por você como modelo em Angola?
NC – Sim. As dificuldades são muitas dentre elas é mesmo a falta de trabalho, em Angola há poucos eventos de moda. E ainda existe um pouco de preconceito, isto é: Uma parte das pessoas quando veem uma modelo começam logo a pensar em outras coisas que não a moda e por isso muitas modelos com grande talento acabam por desistir.
LAS – Sendo uma referência de beleza e inspiração para as mulheres Angolanas como você sente?
NC – Sinto-me bastante grata. Uma imagem inspiradora e autoconfiante depende mais de atitudes que, muitas vezes, você nem percebe. “Daquilo que o mundo vê da gente.
Não se trata de empinar o nariz e lançar um olhar ameaçador.
LAS – Você conhece Brasil?
NC – Infelizmente não. Mas quero muito conhecer, ao longo da minha temporada em Milão, fiz amizades com muitos brasileiros, mulheres e homens e são pessoas, super acolhedoras e divertidas.
LAS – Que lugar do Brasil seria ideal para uma viagem de cultura e trabalhos?
NC – Com certeza São Paulo. Na verdade, na minha ideia Brasil é um mundo de cultura, São Paulo tem sítios fantásticos e conhecidos internacionalmente, pelas suas atividades culturais. Sem medo de errar posso dizer; que São Paulo é a cidade onde se passa tudo e onde tem mais eventos oportunidades de trabalhos.
LAS – Deixe aqui uma mensagem para os leitores brasileiros que estão iniciando nesta carreira como modelo.
NC – Ao invés de uma mensagem, vou deixar aqui alguns conselhos: Conte sempre com os seus pais – Nada é impossível para quem realmente deseja ter sucesso profissional. Se ser modelo é o seu sonho não tem nada mais importante do que o apoio da sua família. Já que muitas começam bastante cedo.
Conheça a profissão – O interesse em moda não é suficiente para tornar alguém um bom modelo. Conheça a fundo o mercado, estude, pesquise e aprenda o máximo que conseguir.
Preocupe-se com a sua aparência- Essa é uma carreira voltada a beleza, portanto tente manter a pele, cabelos e dentes sempre bem cuidados.
Cuide da sua alimentação- Apesar de à carreira ser ligada na maior parte das vezes, à magreza, isso não quer dizer que deva deixar a saúde de lado. Por isso tenha bons hábitos alimentares.
Procure uma agência para abrir portas.
Aprenda a receber “Não” receber respostas negativas faz parte do caminho que você decidiu trilhar.
Tenha Profissionalismo. E por última não menos importante, entenda a diferença existente entre modelo de passarela e modelo fotográfica: É preciso ter em mente que a moda é bem exigente em relação as medidas corporais.

Nádia Campos from Angola stands out in the world of international fashion. Owner of a singular beauty and delicate features and a strong posture. She is considered one of the most promising African models of the new generation. Nádia loves what she does and feels that she is on the right path. Born in Angola, the model is a university student, that is, a woman who bets on her dreams, aiming for a future full of possibilities on the catwalks and outside as well. Her career began when by coincidence of fate, she was going to college and her paths crossed with Hadjalmar El Vaim. He made her an offer to be part of her agency, and she accepted. That’s when it all started, and Nádia Campos entered the fashion universe. Nádia Campos is managed by Hadja Models to this day. She started her career in 2017 and since then has been accumulating important fashion shows, editorials, commercials and international travel.

The model accumulates in her professional career many fashion shows, such as: Angola Fashion Week, Moda Angola, International Fashion Show (IFS), Solidarity Fashion and Beevok Fashion Week. The recognition came through the award for the revelation model Moda Solidária in 2018. The promising career is also present in several advertising campaigns, Advertising for DSTV, Advertising for the Bela drink, Advertising for the Luandina drink, Advertising campaign for Belas Shopping, Advertising campaign for Christmas for Unitel and the Africell advertising campaign. Nádia Campos started her international career in 2019, in the same year she traveled to Nigeria to work at the GTBANK FSHN WKND event. In 2020 she traveled to Italy in Milan, walked at Milan Fashion Week 2020 walking for a renowned brand “Philipp Plein”. And the news in Nádia Campos’ rising and successful career doesn’t stop there, in 2021 she won the Angola Fashion Awards 2021 National Model of the Year award. Which also brought her another international recognition this year. Nádia Campos traveled to Italy to parade in one of the biggest international fashion event, Milan Fashion Week 2022 “MFW22”. The year 2022 is just beginning for Nádia Campos who this year has her name nominated in the biggest award event in Angola “Globos de Ouro Angola 22”.

LAS – What do you feel before stepping on a catwalk?
NC – A great anxiety, that butterflies in the belly. But as soon as I step my foot on the catwalk, seeing all the attention and spotlight on me is just magical.
LAS- What does fashion mean to you?
NC – Fashion for me means growing up as a teenager and asserting myself as a woman and as a professional.
For me, who breathe and feed on fashion, it means everything, she manages to take from me, what I am best at.
LAS – Do you think you are on the right path?
NC – Absolutely yes. Not only have I been growing a lot in my National and International career, but if we don’t believe that we’re on the right path, we’ll never get there.
LAS – How do you take care of your beauty?
NC – I work with the image and it is very important, if not crucial, to always take special care.
I like to sunbathe to ensure I get vitamin D. I take the opportunity to tan and give my skin a different tone and the work I do helps a lot.
I exercise irregularly, eat healthy whenever possible, and drink lots of water.
LAS – What is your style?
NC – My style is versatile. Being a woman who dresses with style doesn’t mean having designer clothes in the closet, but knowing what works for you and what message you want to convey.
LAS – Who are your favorite stylists?
NC – I don’t have a preference for the stylists I’ve worked with, both national and international. Each stylist has his or her worth and all have an authentic dedication. But I must confess that what impressed me the most was Philipp Plein.
LAS – What are your plans for the future?
NC – The plans are audacious, the international market is one of them to continue to lead life in the most natural way possible.
LAS – Are there any difficulties you face as a model in Angola?
NC – Yes. The difficulties are many, among them is the lack of work, in Angola there are few fashion events. And there is still a bit of prejudice, that is: a part of people when they see a model they immediately start thinking about other things than fashion and that’s why many models with great talent end up giving up.
LAS – As a reference of beauty and inspiration for Angolan women, how do you feel?
NC – I feel very grateful. An inspiring and self-confident image depends more on attitudes that you often don’t even realize. “From what the world sees of us.
It’s not about sticking your nose up and shooting a menacing look.
LAS – Do you know Brazil?
NC – Unfortunately not. But I really want to meet, throughout my stay in Milan, I made friends with many Brazilians, women and men and they are people, super welcoming and fun.
LAS – What place in Brazil would be ideal for a trip of culture and work?
NC – Definitely São Paulo. In fact, in my view, Brazil is a world of culture, São Paulo has fantastic places that are internationally known for their cultural activities. Without fear of making mistakes I can say; that São Paulo is the city where everything happens and where there are more events and job opportunities.
LAS – Leave here a message for Brazilian readers who are starting this career as a model.
NC – Instead of a message, I’ll leave here some advice: Always count on your parents – Nothing is impossible for those who really want to have professional success. If being a model is your dream, there’s nothing more important than the support of your family. Since many start quite early.
Know the profession – Interest in fashion is not enough to make someone a good model. Get to know the market in depth, study, research and learn as much as you can.
Worry about your appearance- This is a career focused on beauty, so try to keep your skin, hair and teeth well-groomed.
Take care of your diet- Although career is most often linked to thinness, that doesn’t mean you should leave health aside. So have good eating habits.
Look for an agency to open doors.
Learn to receive “No” receiving negative answers is part of the path you decided to take.
Have Professionalism.
And last but not least, understand the difference between a catwalk model and a photographic model: It is necessary to keep in mind that fashion is very demanding in relation to body measurements.
LAS – Now a thought that defines you as a human being.
NC – No matter how long the walk, the most important thing is to take the first step.
